well, I guess the obvious question is, do you know how linux compatible it is?

Too new for Linux-laptop... in the future, the Laptop forum here is a little more suitable then General, as is actually linking to the hardware manufacturer's page instead of just a retailer, the odds of someone owning this laptop and having all of the same little bits are pretty low:

The sound card I've never heard of, the wireless card is almost bound to be a broadcom... who knows though, but they don't say at all, so that's a crapshoot.

The basic board chipset is just an ALI, so that's fine, expect the ATI IGP cards have got a little sketchy support in base XFree 4.3.0 and ATI doesn't seem to support them directly.

Other then that it looks fine, but anything brand spanking new there's bound to be problems.

I really don't care too much about the wireless lan card. It would be important if the video card actually worked. I think that I found some one said that its works here

If any one can verify the information that would be good. Is there any reviews or testimonials about the laptop any where on the internet?
