Setting up Wireless connection on Suse

I just installed Suse, and I'd like to know how to setup my wireless connection. I cant get online on my laptop, which is what I installed Suse on, I also have a Linksys router which runs my DSL from Roadrunner, and I dont know what to do or where to start from. I should add that I'm new to Linux & just got introduced to this. Has anyone got any suggestion...

Thanks

First google if anyone got the wireless device working.
And what they used for it(ndiswrapper, ...).

What wireless device do you have?

I use a linksys wirelss router: I can't tell the exact name of the network card now because I just installed Suse on it. I got it from dell and from their site it describes the network card as an (Intel® Pro/Wireless 3945 802.11 a/b/g Mini Card Wireless) Its actually a Dell Inspirion E1505 notebook. I didn't have any problem detecting the wireless network, in XP, so you can imagine my confusion...

First check if your kernel sees the device:
lspci | grep ireless

Here you can find the driver for your card:
http://ipw3945.sourceforge.net/

But first look on your distro if it is not already in the packages.

It's very lengthy to tell you all, if you want, contact me with a PM.

Greetings
