Hello!
I have Sony Vaio VPCF11M1E. After daily upgrade my debian "squeeze" I have problem with resolution. I have resolution 1920x1080, but some part of screen is out of window. I can change resolution to 1024x768 or another, but always i have same part of screen out of window.

Hi,

Problems like this can, most of the time, be solved by setting up your monitor correctly. If you see this with all your resolutions, this is worth checking.

I don't see anything suspicions in your output.

Hope this helps.

Try installing the nvidia driver rather than using nouveau.

Ensure you have non-free sources added.
Code:
aptitude -r install nvidia-glx nvidia-xconfig && nvidia-xconfig -o /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Then reboot.

After reboot I have black screen. I think this is problem with bad configuration - xorg.conf
