Screen Goes Blank while installing GUI mode of Linux on Dell inspiron N5010

Hi

I am trying To install my RHEL 5.4 on my Dell laptop N5010 but am unable to install the gui mode of it rather text mode is working well.

while booting Screen goes off after this messege:

Probing for Video Card:intel corporation core processor integrated graphic controller
Attempting to start native X server
waiting For X server to start...log located in lm /tmp/ramfs/X.log

and then the screen goes off rather the system is on
and I waited for around 15-20 mints but nohing happened so I had to restart it forcefully

Post the ouput of the error log please.

ctl-alt f2 

log in 

cp -v /tmp/ramfs/X.log /usb/device -- move to another machine so you can post

cat /tmp/ramfs/X.log  -- read on screen


run the above after you get the error and cut & past into forum response using quotes
