Samsung Q310, Intel GMA X4500

Hello everyone! I have problem with control brightness and other fn-keys except sound. The other fn-keys (switching touchpad, wi-fi) also don't work. The gnome applet doesn't tune brightness.
When i press fn+down (brightness) in the messagelog events appear:

kernel: atkbd.c: Unknown key pressed (translated set 2, code 0x89 on isa0060/serio0)
kernel: atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes e009 <keycode>' to make it known.

I tried opnSUSE11.1 and Fedora 10 and live Ubuntu 8.10 - same result.

Did anybody meet similar problem?

it's telling you, that you need to map those codes to their functions in order for them to work..

you'll need to log all the keycodes and their functions and create the maps for your Laptop.

man setkeycodes
man getkeycodes
man xmodmap

Yes, Fn-keys have been working after some update openSUSE11.1. But brightness control doesnt work anyway.
When I pressing fn+down (brightness) the gnome-applet brightness window appears and show reduce line, but brightness isnt reduced. I have Intel GMA x4500 video and I have question whether kernel does support that video.
I tried other distros -live ubuntu8.10, live fedora10. These linuxes make brightness max after boot and dont allow to control it. I tried also setup kernel 2.6.28-9 on openSUSE11.1 - same result.
How can I know about kernel supporting my video? Maybe I have to report this problem anywhere?
