S-Video out on a Dell Inspiron 6000

Hi!

I have a Dell Inspiron 6000, with an Intel Express 915 graphics card. I have been using gentoo for a while now and mostly problemlessly. However I have recently decided to start using my S-Video out, and after searching far and wide, I couldnt find a good solution to it.

Please help!

Note - Ultimately, I dont want to need to exit X at all to switch between TV and LCD, but if this is impossible, id like to be able to start a new X, Instead of exiting the old one, and returning to the first when Im finished with the second.

This is the info iv'e managed to gather:

Note: this is annoying... since Im new, I cant post urls... I will post them soon

Thanks in advance!
