s-video on dell c610


im wondering if its possible to get the s-video output to work on a dell c610 w/slack 10.1. i plugged it into the tv and it just shows a black screen as though it wasnt connected - thats about all the troubleshooting i know to do in this situation.

I have the same laptop, and mine doesn't seem to work even with XP pro installed.
