Resolution Problems with NVIDIA driver under SUSE 10
I've recently moved from suse 9.2 to suse 10, and encountered a pretty serious problem with the NVidia drivers.

During install, I have a resolution of 1024x768... then during the first boot (without the nVidia drivers installed), I have 1280x800 (The maximum my hardware supports). However, after installing the nVidia drivers through YOU (as I do need the 3D card working), I have a max resolution of 512x368. I can't see any way round this. Sax still says I have 1280x800, but when I click Test with this or any other resolution set, I still get 512x368. Is this an issue with the drivers, or just my hardware (it's an Geforce Go card (the ones for laptops that they don't really support properly)).

Have you looked at the Nvidia Installer HOWTO for SuSE Linux users?
