Unhappy HELP : Reinstall PocketPC on IPAQ after Familiar Linux

I've tried to reinstall my wince_image.gz file using minicom three times and I only get this result of .................... and no more activity.
Familiar is still installed, and even though the file transfer which takes about 20 minutes over my serial cable seems to have worked worked, I get a messages saying that 0kb have been received. Is the wince_image.gz the wrong size? (11mb / 11 526 110) Any help apreciated.

Code:
boot> load root
partition root is a jffs2 partition:
 expecting .jffs2 or wince_image.gz.
After receiving file, will automatically uncompress .gz images
loading flash region root
using ymodem
ready for YMODEM transfer...
806668ACA6E8A33650FFE07C1DF5B57D wince_image.gz
00AFDFDE bytes loaded to A0000400
img_size is not a multiple of 4 -- are we sure that's OK?
Looks like a gzipped image, let's verify it...

Have a look through this page:

http://handhelds.org/moin/moin.cgi/RestoringPocketPcNew

It has not only the place where you can get a replacement image, but also the full instructions on how to restore it.

THIS WAS FROM ONE OF THE OWNERS OF HANDHELDS.ORG

I Used and followed the link above and got it workin.

come to think of it now.. when i tried to restore the image, there was something corrupt with it and it wouldn't allow the personal settings to stick (the PIM or whatever it was) and the 16mb flash wasn't accessable... so i dunno... but perhaps keepin linux and riddin of windoze for good isn't such a bad idea.. i just wish that there was more open source for the pdas as there is in i386 boxes =)~
