Recognizing integrated Cisco aironet on RH9

I am trying to get wireless on my laptop, but am having quite a bit of difficulty. Linux cannot recognize that there is any wireless card on my system. I have downloaded the drivers and installed them and recompiled my kernel to set up the modules and to do other things. Can someone please help me, thanks.
