Sorry ha well... windows xp was on it, then windows 7, then i tried to install linux becasue it looked really good and would suit me. as i installed it after trying it out, i whiped my hard drive and all the drivers upon instalation. i noticed itwhen i went in t the menu option to see my drivers and there arent any.
First, if you are talking about Windows drivers, then they would not be useful with Linux.
Second--what menu are you talking about?--I've never seen drivers listed in a Linux menu.
Ok thank you snowpine... 1 more question though what does it mean in the software center when you click on an applictaion on the description page it says...
"Not available in current data"
I think in retrospect he means 'drives'. Maybe he had a multi-boot system which he wiped or alternately the grub overwrote the mbr and he doesn't have options to boot his system anymore that he's expecting.
Thanks and sorry for the not in one thread thing. but in the top menu bar (System/Admin/Hardware drivers) then also what does it mean in the software center when you choose an app nad it syas on the discription page "Not available in current data"
