Problems with Yellow Dog on iBook

I'm having three "major" problems....and just to warn you, I am new to the penguin :-\

I just dually installed OSX and YDL on a 500mhz iBook. They both boot and function fine, but I'm having a few problems that seem inexplicable with YDL.

1- The time clock keeps resetting....every time I boot up in YDL it is a good six hours fast. In OSX it's always correct....any ideas?

2-In the preferences I have the CD set up to auto mount after insertion, but I still have to manually mount it with disk utility. Any ideas?

3-My Airport card is recgonized, but it doesn't connect. I have a signal and everything, but it doesn't wsork. It gives me an invalid arguement error.

Any help you could give me would be PHENOMENAL. Thanks!

1
in systemsettings - time and date you can adjust the clock.
If you enable network time protocol your time troubles are over

2
on the dektop click right - create new cd/dvdrom device
on the tabs click the wanted items
if now you put a cd in it it mounts automatically

3
I have no airport so I can't tell much about it, but did you have the card in the system at installation.
RH has some strange effects now and then and it could be that the driver is not enabled.
Look in boot config-2.4.22-2f (3.1) and you can see what is used and what isn't (don't modify !!!!!!)
In systemtools - infocenter you can see what is enabled or recognized.
The Airport is a pcmcia device as far as I'm told.

Have a lot of fun....
