problems with Wi-fi internet

One of my friends have a zepto wpro wi-fi internet card and i cant figure out how to make it work. It was my idea to let him try Ubuntu so you got to help me... I don't know that much about his computer but its some kind of a Zepto laptop. I will be VERY happy for help here. By the way it's the neewest version Gutsy Gibbon (i think its 4.10)

Question
You'll get faster help just by giving the model number of the laptop.
It makes it alot easier to lookup the parts and chips, I deal with parts/chips,specs etc...

yeah.. well but my friend got tired of waiting so he installed windows XP...
