Hello!
I have a MSI CX61 2QC. I brought the PC a year ago and it has had many SOs: fedora, linux mint 17.3 and 18 with kde, kubuntu, kde neon... Everytime I have the same problem: the noise of the van and the high temperatures of the PC (even with a cooling pad). Right now the temperature is 75ºC.
Another common issue is the Bluetooth system, but I think this is another problem...
I have two graphic cards: NVIDIA GeForce 920 (with its own driver installed) and an Intel graphics HD card.
BTW, I've already tried TLP and thermald.
Could you help me please?
Thanks
^ i had an MSI laptop a long time ago.
it was such an unbelievable piece of crap. never again.
and it suffered from the exact same issues: overheating, rattling fan noise...
that said, make sure you cleaned all the vents properly.
usually compressed air is enough, or a hair dryer on cold setting, but really make sure it's dust-free and not clogged.
