Problems with choosing the screen-resolution on a Acer Aspire 5020 Laptop in Mandriva

Where can I find what kind of screen I've got on my Acer Laptop? I've surfed to their website, but didn't find my answer there. I'm having big problem when LILO tryes to get to the login-screen.

I'm new to Linux Mandriva so a step by step-guide would be helpfull.

If you need the modelnumber, you may get it through a PM.

A quick google turned up this:

which says 1280x800 for the 5024

and this

which says 1280x800 for the 5021.

Then there's this:

which is the step by step howto guide that you want.
