Ok cool, but I can see every partition. Just with the hidden ones, I need to be on the live cd to see one of them and in windows to see the other. So, now with all the info I have on both the recovery partition and the hp_tools partition, would it be wise to delete both of those partitions? If not which one should I keep?
When I restored my laptop I used clonezilla and made 2 images also cloned to a hdd on my desktop to go thru my files. Any way I screwed up on my restoration project , but all of the images and the cloned hdd were useable.
Make sure you backup the data you have. That way if all goes wrong you have options.
Another thing in nautilus click on view show hidden files.
You can also mount hidden file using disk utility.
Just click on partition and hit "mount partition" button. You should be able to view files.

Oh ok. I never thought of that for some reason. Lol knew I could but just didn't think to try. But either way, assuming the backup that I made works, can I delete those two partitions???
