Problem with battery icon
 
My battery icon only display full power, but it dont display the amount of power the lap has, or if it is connected or not, even the change when plug/unplug, can someone help me to solve this problem???

Which distribution are u using ?
What happens when u right click and set the properties of the battery icon ?

im using ubuntu 9.10

the properties are just the basic as hibernato or suspend, only and if i want the icon o just say if connected low batt or always on top....


i think its the acpi=force, cause in 9.4 i got the same problem, just the lapoverheated and dont turned off, can tell me how to change the menu.lst???? or where to find it, cause i dont find it

menu.lst should be located in your /boot/grub directory. I don't remember if ubuntu uses grub legecy or grub2 if its grub2 then you wont have a menu.lst file you will have a grub.cfg file.
