Problem loding FC7 in my laptop

Hi guys,

I have installed fedora 7 64 bit in my laptop(lenovo 3000 y500 series 7500 nividia graphics card) while i am installing everything is working fine. After third boot it shows you mouse is not detected do you want to detect and with option yes and no and gets hang. but i tried entering in to run level 4 and from there i gave startx and enter gui mode its working fine.

how can i solve this problem.

Disable the GPM service, either via system-config-services or chkconfig and see if it helps.

Hi hollywoodb,
As you said i stopped the gpm service its started well. when i gave system-config-soundcard and increased the sound then the trouble start's as its gives a error sound in login and gets hangs in graphical screen and the resolution as changes to 800x640 and i couldn't able to select the application tab and other icons are hanged.

can you help me,
I like fedora but it doesn't like me
