problem in installing lucid on hcl netbook
 
i have hcl notebook with pentium dual core ,
im trying to install Linux 10.04 LTS with live cd,
while installation,after showing logo of LUCID the loading process halts i.e desktop does not loads......plz tell me some way outs ........

you mean ubuntu? try with other live cds you have at home.
