Can you boot from a Live CD and examine your logs?

You should be looking at /var/log/Xorg.0.log

There should be information about the failure(s) of mouse and keyboard.

Knoppix, Ubuntu, any of the LiveCD's would do it for you. Remember, you just need to mount the var and root partitions in order to read the XOrg.0.log and take corrective action in your /etc/X11/xorg.conf.

There's nothing magical about booting from Fedora to fix a Fedora problem, I think.

i boot my laptop using ubuntu 9.10 live cd.
i got this message, which i think is the problem.

(==) ModulePath set to "/usr/lib/xorg/modules"
(II) Cannot locate a core pointer device.
(II) Cannot locate a core keyboard device.
(II) The server relies on HAL to provide the list of input devices.
If no devices become available, reconfigure HAL or disable AllowEmptyInput.
(WW) Open ACPI failed (/var/run/acpid.socket) (No such file or directory)
(II) No APM support in BIOS or kernel

Above message i took from that file. Is it any error and how to overcome it? Thanx

Also, check the reference to Option "AutoAddDevices" "off" in the following:
