Problem booting RH 9.0

Had this happen a couple of time now:

Turned laptop on and everything seemed to be ok (Grub started booting up, the usual text was seen etc), however instead of the blue graphical user login screen that you get on RH, I just got a blank screen. I had to reset the power because it appeared frozzen.

The next time it did the same thing but fortunately the subsequent boot up was ok.

My recommendation: the next time it boots up: (1) download Prime95 for Linux by going to (2) login as root and run mprime's torture test in a terminal for at least 24 hours.

If the computer locks up or mprime gets an error, you know that there is a hardware problem (probably either the motherboard or the memory).
