Angry post blinking...

My notebook went through a crash when my girlfriend decided it was in the way of her feet and kicked it to the floor. I have tried to rip the thing apart and clean it out. that worked for a hour and now the notebook is back to being a piece of shit. when i try to power it on it will blink 9 or 10 times then turn off. i have tried reseating the ram and mini-pci wireless card many times but i dont know whats going on with it and i cant find any information on what the dell led post light blinks mean. google points me to some guys battery blues.... please help!!

Sounds like physical damage to the system board to me.

Take it to a professional who will evaluate it for cheap or free.

My guess is that it will be cheaper to buy a new laptop.

Well it seems that the motherboard did go to hell. after cleaning it out it worked for about a hour just fine and now im back to the same hell. but the computer will run stable abou 80% of the time and the wireless card will not connect to anything... i have tried to change the mode to ad-hoc and it let me set the essid. does the same thing with auto. maybe i should just try to get a pcmcia wireless card. does anyone know of a good one with the prisim/2 chipset?
