i have asus a7 laptop, and pentium 770, graphic card ATI mobility radeon X700. Mandriva one live cd boot well, but the screen becomes black and i can't see nothing. Can anybody help to solve this problem ?

please use better titles than ¨please help¨... it should give some insight as to the problem you are having.

mmmm ..., seems itis conflict between your card and mandriva try another distro like ubuntu itis compatible with ati cards

erm... really not a fix that is it? no reason off hand it shouldn work. especially with ati cards which work VERY well with the bog standard radeon x drivers.

the intresting thing is, that mandriva one boots and works well in VMWare player, but without 3D effects, Sabayon miniEDition live CD work properly as live CD and after installation on hard drive with 3D effects acseleration and XGL, but not mandriva one live CD nor mandriva 2007 servise pack boot properly. Mandriva 2007 servise pack was succesfully installed,then i press 'reboot', the sistem boot goes on, then screen goes black and then i hear music, i think, that sistem boot successfully,but i can see nothing. the same thing with mandriva live cd edition
