Playing DVD's

Dear all

I installed Linux Fedora C5 on my laptop. I faced a problem in playing a DVD.

How can I play DVD's in linux?

What was the problem you faced exactly? Was there an error message? Have you tried an install guide for Fedora, e.g. Stanton Finley's guide?

You will need libdvdcss2. it allows you to play dvds. Could that be the problem?

For me the solution was Xine is an excellent software.
Try this link: http://cambuca.ldhs.cetuc.puc-rio.br/xine/
Because Xine home page it is a little tricky.
Works for me, and also have libraries like libdvdcss2. Just follow the instructions step by step.
