Exclamation PDA's - sony Clie SJ20

Hey,

i guess this is *kinda* off topic ...

anyway .. i jsut got a sony clie sj20

i have NOT found an extraordinary amount of docs. i cant get it to syc with evolution ... gnome-pilot backend ...

after "about to send username and UID to cradle" ... "press the hotsync button"

it just sits there ... nothing happends ... i have no cradle ... so i just tell the clie itself to hot synch ... it timeouts ...

im running slackware 9 (2.4.20) ... and have the usbserial and visor modules loaded ...

this is _probably_ a port issue ...

could someone shed some light on the problem? or send to a good doc thats KNOW to work with clie sj20's
