PCMCIA wireless card off after booting

I have finally installed my DLW-650+ wireless card on my Mandrake 9.1 but after I boot up the card is off, I have to unplug it and then plug it again to turn it on. How can I do to get my PCMCIA card on after booting?

Are you saying that you've had this card working and been able to connect, and then after a reboot it no longer works? Also, can you verify the model number again, are you sure it's a "+"? Which module are you using for this card?

No, I mean every time I start linux the card is powered off, and I have (physically) unplug it and then I plug it again to get powered on, and then when is powered on it works fine, what I want it's getting my card powered on when I start linux.
Excuse me if I didn't explain well but I'm from Spain and it's more difficult for me to explain something in English than in Spanish.
I'm using pcmcia modules (the newer I found for this release), yenta-socket module and the driver is a binary one I found for the specific chipset of this wireless card.
And yes the card is "DLW-650+"

Thank you very much

josejcs,
Check the configuration file for your card. On my SuSE machine it is /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-eth1. Under STARTUPMODE see if it says 'hotplug' or 'onboot'.
I set mine to hotplug because the ethernet connections are initialized before the pcmcia services start. You might want to watch the bootup sequence to see how Mandrake handles that. I had problems getting the card to work until I changed the startupmode to hotplug. I am using a Netgear MA401RA.
Good luck,
Zane
