HELP on Debian with EP-9428-gp/A2
Quote:
I use the same card. SURECOM EP-9428-gp/A2 variant. When I install, it on UBUNTU 7.04-FF it works as a Not proof devece or something like that and was recognized and chosen on installation. But now, when I install Debian 4.0R1 ETCH, it was not revealed on the installation at all. How can I install it on Debian in KDE environment? I stick around at many boards, but with no success to drive the card under Deb. I will be happy if get some clues. 10x in advance. |
Well m8s,
Finally after few hours of googling, I find out the official support of the http://www.madwifi.org/ and especially http://madwifi.org/wiki/UserDocs/Distro/Debian/MadWifi where I found perfect manual for installing the card. Just follow the instructions carefully and I think that on Debian etch 4.0R1 will work just well. 10x 2Gnu for the helpful post. Here is config details of the card: debian:~# wlanconfig ath0 [status not implemented (yet).
