Post pcmcia wifi cards

I'd like to buy an old'ish laptop to use as an X terminal to my rather powerful desktop. For the networking, I'd like it to be wireless.

So if you've got a pcmcia wireless card that's worked for you without problems, let me know which one and with which distro.

Alternatively, create an entry in the hcl

http://www.linuxquestions.org/hcl/

Thanks a lot.

whatever you do DON'T buy...

... a D-Link DWL 650+ or any compatible TI ACX100 chipset.

The card can be made to work under Linux thanks to the fantastic efforts of the guys from http://acx100.sourceforge.net and from Thehousofcraig web sites and not because of the manufacturer. So just go for the normal Prism cards... :-) or at least also for a card that has proper support for linux if you still need to buy one.

Talking

Netgear MA401, It's already posted on the hcl.

I was lucky when I bought it, at the time I just went to the store and picked up the first card I laid my hands on.
