PCMCIA USB card YDL 3.01 Wallstreet Powerbook

There are no USB ports on my ancient PPC Apple Powerbook. I have YDL 3.01 installed and it runs just fine. I'd like to get the USB stuff working (printer, decent scroll mouse, flash drive for camera, CDRW etc.

I tried this configuration from the YDL forums:

"Here's a vague answer but it should be the cause, because I had this
problem:

PCMCIA doesn't work on Wallstreet in YDL because the type of bridge of the
PCMCIA slot isn't specified by default, you have to type it in manually.
So your /etc/sysconfig/pcmcia should read something similar to:

PCMCIA=yes
PCIC=i82365
PCIC_OPTS=
CORE_OPTS=
"
Borked it. I had to unplug the card and boot in failsafe to get it back.

I'm looking for other ideas.
