this post may be easly solved. I have no knoledge of slackware and how it finds or configures pcmcia cards. on the istalation i only used the two install disks. So if in need the source i need a link. But anyway i have the Belikn #F5D7011 wireless g card. i have read that it is hard to install and was wondering if anyone has had any luck with the instalation. if so tell me how please. If there is a easyway to see if the wifi card is recognised that information would be also greatly appreciated.
like i said i don't know much in the instalation field, but any help is good help.

compile this kernel for your OS

i have slackware 10.1 and have whaterver kernel that was on it and don;t know how to compile it. I was aondering if there was such a program the i could use the windows drivers for it.
I also have this usd to ethernet dongle, and don't know how to make said os understand it.

Slackware 10.1 installs the 2.4.26 kernel by default. There is a 2.6.x provided in the extras on disc 2. I'm not familiar with that particular card. When you plug it in run lspci -v to get information about the card's chip (Prism, Atheros, etc.). With that you can do some Google searching and find out if there are any native Linux drivers for that chip. If not, or if you want to skip that and go directly to the Windows driver option, that would be ndiswrapper:

ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net

Go to the wiki section and find your card in the list. The information there will tell you exactly which driver to use.
