Panasonic CF18 with XUbuntu12, how to exchange cursor keys


My new laptop is an Toughbook CF18. Installation of XUbuntu12 (LTS) was smooth and everything seems to be recogniced just fine. I have however two useability problems.

My other problem is that the cursor keys are arranged in an unlogical way of
..............<up>
<left><right><down>

So when i want to press the <down> button without looking at the keyboard then i always press the <right> button instead.

Is there an easy way to swap the key functions to get the normal layout of
..............<up>
<left><down><right>
