Palm Pilot Problems

I am trying to sync my Tungsten with my Fedora Core 2 using Gpilot or Pilot-xfer. I am getting this error

[root@dhcppc2 extreme]# pilot-xfer -b /home/extreme
No $PILOTPORT specified and no -p <port> given.
Defaulting to '/dev/pilot'
ERROR: No such file or directory (2)

Error accessing: '/dev/pilot'. Does '/dev/pilot' exist?
Please use --help for more information

I have changed the permsisions to 666 and have check to see what modules are running

It is possible that /dev/pilot refers to a device connected to your serial port rather than a Tungsten which runs on USB. You might to check out this thread http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=177780
