Nvidia Drivers Installed with XFree not starting

Currently installed the Nvidia Drivers on Red Hat 9.0. However when the system is restarted, the Nvidia logo flashes and X server cannot start.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

check out /var/log/XFree86.0.log for details on what went wrong...post at least the end of the file here if you can't figure anything out yourself

btw. as far as I know, there is no need to restart the machine after installing, say, nvidia drivers...only X.

Apparently the problem was due to "glx". I just deleted the load "glx" line in the X config file. The drivers are working fine.

The log came in handy, thanks b0uncer.
