not booting


I have been trying to install slackwhere 10 on my laptop its new with no operating syatem installed, the install semed to go fine but then when i try to boot i get to

starting pcmcia services:
<probing for pcic: edit /etc/rc.d/rc.pcmcia>

and it hangs there i have a pcmcia card installed

Thanks alot any help will be greatly apperated

is your pcmcia card supported in slackware?
