No Sound on Dell Laptop


Newbie to DSL. I've installed connected to internet via cisco wireless cad but can't get any sound. The sound is via ES1888 in windows what do I need to work in Linux and how do I set it up

First, we'd need to know which sound chipset you're using. Open up a terminal, enter the following, and paste the output here:

Opened terminal and typed lspci. Result shown
