No sound Debian Squezze Dell Studio

Hello. I installed Debian Squezze on my dell studio but sound is not working. Can anyone help me??.

With lspci command the information about the sound card is this:

00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset High Definition Audio (rev 05)

I used Ubuntu in this laptop and sound works without a problem.

By default it is muted. I would suggest running "alsamixer" in a terminal to adjust the settings.
