no sockets found - pcmcia

ive got a belkin wireless card, that i used to have working with 2.4.22. actually, it still does work in 2.4.22. i recently installed 2.6.2 and am just now getting around to getting the wireless card working again. i installed the modules and all that, but when i restart pcmcia, and when it starts on boot, i get this:

Starting PCMCIA services:
cardmgr[192]: no sockets found!

any suggestions ???

How did you configure PCMCIA support and support for the PCMCIA host drivers? Try modprobing yenta_socket or i82365 while tailing your system log to see what errors pop up.

ya, that was the problem - no yenta-socket module. so i recompiled my kernel, added support for that module, and added it to rc.modules, so now that works.
thanks !
