NMI received on recovery from suspend to disk

I have a Thinkpad Z61M with Debian Sidux installed and kernel 2.6.20.1-slh-smp-2. In the last two days, on return from suspend to disk, I sometimes get a message:

"NMI received for unknown reason; you have some hardware problem, likely on the PCI bus."

It does not seem to appear after a normal boot up, without suspend. I ran memtest86 for 22 hours without problems and compiled a kernel twice to test memory.

Question: is this something I can ignore as a false positive? If not, how should I test further? The laptop is still under warranty.
