NIC not working


i am using FC2 on my compaq 2514at laptop, everything used to work fine, until i was trying ethreal utility which monitor my network traffic,
when i used that , it got freezed, and i restarted, from then, i am unable to work on network, i am unable to ping,,,
but its showing my nic as active,..
what to do..?

check the usual configuration options, ifconfig, netstat, route .. make sure everything is set. Check the card LEDS/Link Status. Go over everything !
