New to Lunix and looking for answers.
 

I have an HP Pavillion ZE1115 currently running Windows XP PRO and I'm looking to get away for Windows. I have been looking at Unbuntu 7 and Suse 10. I have used both of them on two different desktop pc and I would like to install one of them on my laptop. Can any one tell me what I should look out for and which of the two would be best to install on the laptop.

Either should work on that laptop, so it's really up to which you prefer. If you're not sure, I suggest trying them both out, or doing a search for comparisons of the two. There are a lot of "Which distro?" posts on this site alone, never mind the rest of the net, we don't really need another one. If you have a question regarding a specific feature, that's different, but a vague "which should I use?" type question has an entirely subjective answer and has been asked MANY times before.
