New setup can't get wireless to work

Sorry if I asking a basic question, but I am new to Linux. I installed RedHat Professional WS on my laptop (IBM R50), now I can't seem to get my wireless card to work - Intel Pro/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI - Can someone please tell me how to fix this problem. When I type lspci, the wireless card does come up, but dont know how to get it to work. Comes up as Intel Corp. Pro/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter.

I am updating my question. I got to http://ipw2100.sourceforge.net/ and it seems helpful, but I do have one question. It says that you must have 2.6.4+ kernel. I just installed RedHat Pro WS and it has kernel 2.4.21-27.0.2.EL, should I still update the kernel or can I still use what I currently have?

The howto from a link on that page says you need greater than 2.4.26 or greater than 2.6.4, so it looks like you will have to upgrade your kernel. You will also need to get the kernel source as well.
