need help on kali linux on vmware after update kali
 

have kali linux 2017 last ver on vmware 14 pro workstation after the update upgrade and install of kali software when i try to fix ftp server on my laptop got the message e : invalid operation vsftpd the same message came when i try apt-get apache 2 and telnet its part of learning kali linux in university every time i used apt-get command need help to solve that im using the vmware and kali linux on external hard drive
