Question Need help on installing Linux on Sony Vaio, with Crusoe processor.

Hi everyone, I just got a vaio pcg-u1 laptop, and I've always wanted to try out linux so now that I have a second laptop I've decided to try it. http://www.transmetazone.com/article...articleID=1056 This is the laptop in question. I was wondering what linux distribution you would suggest, and whether or not all the hardware and functions will work properly? What I'm worried about is the processor, because when I went to the ubuntu site to download the new distribution it had different download for different processors, and this one didn't show up. Is it worth trying this or should I just re-install windows on it?

Thank you all for your help.

The Crusoe is x86 compatible, it should work with any x86 compiled distro.

Thanx for your help guys, I should be doing it this weekend, and I'll tell you how it goes. I'm just worried bout the hotkeys and functions that probably aren't supported but I'll do my best with the site you sent me. I'm also planning to install Ubuntu unless there's any reason why I shouldn't?
