need help installing apps on my visor


how does one go about installing apps on a handspring visor? all other sycncronization conduits are fine, but i'm not sure how to install new apps (*.prc) files. any suggestions??

Are you using J-Pilot, if so you click on File --> Install and then just browse to where the *.pcr file is and say Add then once your done choosing you then Hot Sync your Visor to J-Pilot and it will install the apps.

i'm using evolution for schedule, mail, todo, etc. but for file installation i am using gpilot. i'm not sure how different this is from jpilot.

from reading other threads and trying things out, here is my solution....

to install a new *.prc (say ~/MyPilot/telnet.prc) app on my handspring:

1.) /usr/bin/gpilot-install-file ~/MyPilot/telnet.prc

2.) follow directions on screen.
