I'm trying to install ndiswrapper on my debian system w/ a custom kernel. Uring boot I get the error message

Hi,
Not 100% about debian, but had the same problem with Slack and this is how I got around it.
From your directory containing the ndiswrapper source code, issue the commands in this order:-
ndiswrapper -e 'then your driver name'
make uninstall
make distclean
make clean
make
make install
ndiswrapper -i 'then path to and name of driver'
modprobe ndiswrapper
ifconfig up wlan0
dhcpcd wlan0
If successfull, then do ndiswrapper -m
You might need to edit your wireless.conf file at whereever debian puts it, to reflectyour own wireless lan settings.
