Music syncing?

I store all my music on a home server as FLAC files, but sometimes I want to listen on my laptop when I'm not at home (or near an internet connection).

So I'm looking for a program that will help me synchronize my laptop music folder with my server music folder, including transcoding the files down to mp3 or ogg (while keeping tags and all that, of course).

Any suggestions?

Do you want to sync the files or stream them from your server to your laptop? If you want to sync the files then you can use: rsync, scp, or rdist

I want to sync them. The problem with those is that they just sync the files, they don't do any transcoding, tagging, etc.

Yes, I realize I could write a program around rsync to piece all this together, but I'm asking if something like this already exists.
