Multi monitor setup on Laptop
 

I am trying to setup a multi monitor system with my laptop.

Details:
PC: ASUS L8400B (Laptop)
VGA: S3 Savage/MX (Runs multi monitor in XP)
OS: Fedora Core 1 (XFree 4.3.x)
External monitor: Hitachi CM751 19"

I need to be able to run the LCD of the laptop in 1024x768 and the Hitachi in 1280x1024.

I have tried to poke around in XF86Config, and I have tried with s3switch. It is possible to have the same image on either or both monitors. But I need to have different views on the two monitors at different resolutions at the same time.

TV-out would be nice too, but not at all necessary.

The answer may have been posted before, in that case just point me in the right direction.
