I have Red Hat 9.0 on my laptop hp pavilion zt1145.My system has sony CRX800E ,basically it is cd-rw/dvd rom .I am trying to run dvd using xine (dvdplayer) but it does play.
Can somebody help me in how to play the dvd's using xine.

My /etc/fstab looks like this

so do you want to play a dvd or mount a dvd? totally different things... for Xine you will need various plugins to be able to decode the dvd video, as well as libdvdread and libdvdcss.
