I installed mandrake 9.2 on my compaq 2190US laptop. I am unable to get the wireless adapter working. I installed the OS without the adapter. It recognized the inbuilt ethernet card and assigned a NATSEMI module to it and the device was eth0

Later i plugged in the adapter and restarted the computer. When i typed iwconfig in the terminal window nothing comes up. When i typed ifconfig i see
eth0 (with my wireless adapter HWAddr), eth0-9 (???), eth1 (inbuilt ethernet card) and lo. I went to drakconf to configure the adapter. The module assigned to eth0 is NATSEMI and the module assigned to eth1 is ORINOCO_CS.

I tried to go into modules.conf and assign the proper modules to the devices namely ORINOCO_CS to eth0 and NATSEMI to eth1. But no success. Can someone point me in the right direction ????
