TMS LQ Newbie Registered: May 2004 Posts: 2 Rep:	Mandrake 10 no KDE Laptop Control Center Hi there, I am new to Linux, just installed Mandrake 10 in my DELL Inspiron 4000. I have a problem, I activated ACPI at the BootLoader, but I can't get KDE 3.2 to show the battery status. Under KDE Power Control, I only get 'Display Power Control' but no Battery status. No power management whatsover is available. However, under GNOME, I can show the battery status, but can't configure other power management features. Any help is highly appreciated. Cheers
